The first phase of the new Zinc Borate facility officially starts production with 3.000 tonnes/year capacity, making Akdeniz Chemson one of the few flame retardant chemical producers in the world.
Although Zinc Borate, is produced by Akdeniz Chemson since 2018, changing market requirements & increasing demand will be met by this capacity expansion. The need for the essential raw material Zinc Oxide will also be met by a parallel capacity expansion in Turkey by January, 2021.
